Well now its IPAD People are watching apple!
Apple unveiled its new iPad tablet device today and we aren’t quite sure how were feel about it yet. Apple officials want the device to take tablets and eReaders to a new level. This multifunctional device sports a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD display, runs Apple’s chip developed by P.A. Semi, supports YouTube HD, has iTunes built in, and it also features a built-in calendar—and Jobs claims it has a 10 hour battery life. We will admit the new device is a bit “squatty”—sort of like a stouter iPhone. We were also surprised they went with “iPad” as the official title for the device—we assumed the phonetic similarities to Apple’s “iPod” would have made the company go in a more distinct direction with naming. The features and capabilities seem extremely functional and accessible—nothing too expensive or unnecessary.
AP Technology writer Rachel Metz wrote that she was genuinely pleased and impressed with the new iPad, giving the device an overall positive review. “Overall, though, I was impressed by the iPad in the short time we had together,” says Metz. “I can’t yet say if I’ll be among the first in line to buy one, but I’m definitely looking forward to playing with it some more.”
